I'm Back! Probably Not For Good but I Needed Something to do During a Global Pandemic

Was that too honest of a title? I mean it’s straight to the point, you know what you’re getting with this article I guess…anyways here it goes.

So, it’s been awhile...that’s more to me than to you. Well not “you” in particular but everyone who is not me. I haven’t posted or written or really even composed my thoughts down in a very long time. I’ve given myself the excuse of not having time, having other stuff to do, nobody really caring if I posted or not. But most of those obstacles are gone. Myself and the whole country is on house arrest because of COV-19. I have suddenly had most of my hobbies taken away and almost all of my time given back to me. It’s been quite the turn of events. As for nobody caring, well I’m pretty sure nobody still does...or doesn’t...I’m not really sure of the phrasing around that sentence, but just roll with me. 

I’ve tried to restart this thing a few times over the last three years but I never really felt a need to commit to writing like that again. But now I literally have nothing better to do. I enjoyed the exercise of compiling my thoughts, researching topics, trying to make my weird opinions on things somewhat palatable or entertaining. So I’m gonna do that. 

Who knows if this keeps up after this whole CoronaVirus thing calms down but I don’t really care. I need a hobby I can do from the comfort of my home and that leaves me with very few options. I’m also paying to host this website so I might as well use it. That $16 a month could be like 1 1/2 Chipotle burritos or 3-4 Starbucks orders or one large popcorn at the movies and right now its just being used so that Russian bots can send me their emails because who the hell is signing up for a newsletter where I clearly state I’m not gonna send you anything?! Like wut? Putin’s gonna have to try harder than that to catfish me!

So buckle up and for the next few weeks stay at home and read my “entertaining” shit! Please...
